Referrals now is an excellent book that explains how to obtain more business by asking for referrals. Most friends and existing clients are more than willing to recommend your product or sevices if you just ask for it. Sales people sometimes view asking for referrals as a sign of weakness or problems in the business. This is not true.

If you want to build up a business very quickly without a lot of overhead, this is the best method. It would be adviseable to first read the book “Masters of Networking” by Ivan R. Misner. Referral business has a lot to do with networking, so you must be ready to do favors for other people who help you out. Forgetting to help somebody else who has helped you will be very detrimental to your business.

Just asking somebody for a referral is not really good enough but asking the person for a personal introduction increases your chances dramatically for closing the deal.

Don’t read the book all in one go. Read a chapter, think about how you can apply it, write down what you think is best for you and experiment with it.

If you are in business, then you can’t afford not to at least read this book! by Jeff Lippincott

This is a wonderful book. It is very well written and an easy read. Furthermore, it is full of great content. I highly recommend you take a look at the online listing of this book’s Table of Contents and see for yourself what specifically is covered.

This book reminds us to not look too far astray for customers or clients. It’s easier to cultivate an existing customer for a new sale than to convince a non-customer to buy from you. And it’s easier to have a satisfied customer convince a non-customer to buy from you than you doing it yourself.

Focusing on getting referrals is probably the least expensive way to build a customer-base and sales. Keep in mind that there are at least two methodologies to getting referrals. One is the do-good-work for your customers and clients and to get them to refer you to their family and friends. The other is B2B where you get other businesses that compliment yours to refer work to you. You can pay a referral fee or send them an equal amount of referrals.

Some people are not comfortable with using referrals to build their customer-base. But then some people are not comfortable being self-employed either. If you are one of those people who want to be successful at being self-employed, then take advantage of referrals as much as possible. And a good way to start is probably by getting this book and reading it cover to cover. 5 stars!

Joe really does not deserve some of the negative feedback levelled at him. When touching on the topics of spirituality and universal laws such as the Law of Attraction, you will always leave yourself open to skepticism and negativity. Fortunately this is like water off a duck’s back to Joe, as he continues is his quiet confident journey through this life.

If you are after some answers or another approach to how you can achieve your goals and life’s purpose, then this book is a great read. Huge Disappointment!!! by
Anthony’s “Selling to VITO” is one of the best books ever written for people selling big ticket products and services to senior executives. So I had high expectations for his latest book, “Secrets of VITO.” Unfortunately, the book is little more than pop-psychology. Consider the following seven of Anthony’s ten golden rules:

(1) I will be honest, even when it hurts.
(2) I will touch people in a special way.
(3) I will keep my thoughts and ideas simple and straightforward.
(4) I will show my positive emotions.
(5) I will say I am sorry when I mess up.
(6) I will look at people when I talk to them…
(9) I will not settle for the word “no.”

Could Anthony be any more trite? What a huge disappointment. My advice? Buy Anthony’s “Selling to VITO” (if you haven’t already)… but don’t even think about purchasing this book. Overall grade: D/D-

Not the best book on this subject by D. jones
I own and have read the author’s original book: Selling to VITO. That book is worth owning and I recommend it without reservation.

Unfortunately, Mr. Parinello has attempted to take his franchise too far. Secrets of VITO and Getting to VITO do not present the value of the original book. They are a rehash of the author’s experiences and offer precious little original thought or suggestions.

The best book I’ve come across on the subject of calling in to the top of the food chain is: Value Forward Selling by Paul DiModica. It is better in everyway than Secrets of VITO.

Great Info About How to Communicate With CEOs by
The book focuses on the mind of CEOs and how to communicate with them. Most sales people fear having to sell to top officers, because they have very little experience working with them (other than following orders or being managed by them).

Anthony provides a ton of information on how top officers think and behave. Having this information really helped me to gain enough confidence to sell at the highest level more effectively. I now have a road map and some principles to follow.

On the downside, the book provides too much advice at times. With all the “don’t ever….” and “you must do….” bits of advice, the reader might come away overwhelmed and more confused than ever. But Anthony does attempt to distill his ideas down to very basic principles which are very helpful.

All in all a very useful book!

It shows the helpful hidden hook inside of words in religion, the Bible, literature, the media, TV, movies and particularly in entertainment and advertising. Yes, the helpful hidden hooks in the Bible are healing. These helpful, hidden words in the Bible give you the feeling–with proof–that the Bible was written to show the progress of civilization and to heal.

The helpful hidden hooks from which to create a good memory are amazing …as if evolution was pulling for us to remember, be healthy, succeed and be happy. This is proof to me that evolution has unified concepts and words so we can survive; improve; and be healthy and happy …if we find and follow these helpful, hidden hooks inside of information.

It is one of the most insightful and helpful books I’ve ever read …and practical. You can use it every day. And so many marvelous word puzzles to solve and enjoy. And they make sense.
